Joy Season 1 Episode 6

Send us a text

This time, I want to dive into something a bit more personal. As the first half of my exchange journey came to an end last semester, I entered a transition period before starting the next chapter. Saying goodbye to international friends and reuniting with family in Taiwan for the Lunar New Year made me reflect deeply. This phase allowed me to process my emotions, grow through goodbyes, adapt to life abroad, and redefine what "home" truly means after leaving my country.

👉🏻 What’s in this episode:

  • Hard to say goodbye to international friends: The challenge and growth in learning to let go
  • A fresh perspective on home after studying abroad: Home is still home
  • Is studying abroad really easy? Facing language barriers & cultural adaptation
  • Is going on exchange worth it? How living abroad helped me understand myself and the world

🎧 This is a casual, heartfelt episode, but there’s one message I want to emphasize—if you’re thinking about studying abroad, don’t hesitate!

My journey has been filled with confusion and loneliness, but even more so, personal growth. If you're adjusting to life in a new country or chasing your dream of studying abroad, I hope this episode resonates with you and gives you strength!
